The First Malaysian Chinese Artist to Hold a Solo Concert on the Island

Malaysian singer-songwriter DIOR大颖, who has previously performed in Genting Highlands, Sarawak, Singapore, and Taipei, will bring her tour to Bali, Indonesia on June 6, 2026 (Saturday). The concert will take place at Lotus Pond, GWK Cultural Park, as part of her “Kampung Girl” world tour, through which she has been using music to tell her raw and authentic life story of her growth from a small-town girl to a widely recognised artist who performs on a global stage.
The Bali performance marks DIOR大颖’s first-ever outdoor solo concert. She will also become the first Malaysian Chinese artist to stage a concert on the island, a significant milestone in her musical journey. Set against a lush natural backdrop, the show production will feature an entirely new stage design and a setlist with approximately 50% changes, promising fans a fresh and immersive live experience, and the chance to enjoy DIOR大颖’s music in the serenity of nature.
DIOR大颖 rose to fame in 2020 with her soulful debut single “爱自己更深” [“Love Myself More”] (2020). The multi-talented artist has since released numerous self-written hits, including “你最近过得好吗？” [“I’ve Been Better.”] (2023), “如果那通电话有接通” [“Ru Guo Na Tong Dian Hua You Jie Tong”] (2024), “人醒着不过一万多天” [“YOLO”] (2025), and more. Her duet with Firdhaus, “在加纳共和国离婚” [“Divorce in Ghana”] (2023), achieved the number two spot on Spotify’s Global Most-Streamed Mandopop Songs Chart in 2024, while the poignant “如果那通电话有接通” [“Ru Guo Na Tong Dian Hua You Jie Tong”] (2024) was featured in the Contemporary Pop Playlist at the 2024 Soda Music and Douyin Music Vision Annual Gala.
In June 2025, DIOR大颖 was specially invited by Spotify to represent Malaysia and Singapore as the month’s EQUAL ambassador, appearing on the iconic Times Square billboard in New York, to advocate for women’s empowerment. Her 2025 Spotify Wrapped statistics showed that she racked up 70.4 million streams from 4.2 million listeners from 183 countries, once again proving that she is an artist with great potential. This year, in recognition of her exceptional popularity and growing influence, she was selected as one of the Top 100 Artists at the 21st KKBOX Music Awards.
For DIOR大颖, embarking on her first-ever world tour is both a celebration of her five-year career as well as a dream come true and heartfelt tribute to her late mother, who had always longed to see her shine on a grand stage. This milestone will give her an opportunity to present her most authentic self through personal stories woven into her music.
