South Korean soloist BOL4, also known as Bolbbalgan4 (볼빨간 사춘기), will be embarking on her “2023 BOL4 ASIA TOUR” this August.
She will be heading to Macau, Tokyo and Jakarta, before making the final stop of her Asia Tour in Singapore on 10 September 2023 (Sunday), 7PM (SGT) at The Theatre at Mediacorp. This will be the musician’s first concert in Singapore.
BOL4 debuted under Shofar Entertainment in April 2016 with the first mini album “Red Ickle”. With her distinct vocal colour and heartfelt delivery, the talented singer-songwriter quickly made a name for herself in the K-Indie scene and till today continues to receive a lot of love and interest from the public because of her relatable music.
Her second mini album “Red Diary Page.1”, dominated Korean music charts, with the tracks “Some” (2017), “To My Youth” (2017), and “Blue” (2017) landing at the top three spots on six major Korean music charts in 2017. The music video for “Some” (2017) is currently the artist’s most-viewed on YouTube, with current numbers at 122 million and counting.
Additionally, the remaining two songs of the album also managed to land in the top 10 spots of all six charts. BOL4 continued to top the Korean music charts with her third and fourth mini albums, “Red Diary Page.2” and “Youth Diary 1: Flower Energy” in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
In May 2020, BOL4 released the whimsical track “Leo” (2020), with an unexpected guest feature by EXO’s BAEKHYUN. The song quickly became a fan-favourite, and placed No. 42 on Melon’s Top 100 Songs Chart of 2020.
Her latest album, titled “Love.zip”, was released in April this year, and debuted at No. 57 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, and No. 10 on the Melon Weekly Album Chart. Fans can look forward to live performances of BOL4’s best songs at her concert in Singapore.
